By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Dose & Fuel mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Medical Disclaimer (Not Medical Advice)

DOSE & FUEL IS A WELLNESS TRACKING COMPANION, NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE OR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER.

The Service does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, prescription management, or clinical recommendations. All medication reminders, dosage logs, protein estimations, and nutritional insights are based strictly on user-entered values and automated estimation models for informational purposes only.

Always consult your prescribing physician, endocrinologist, or qualified healthcare professional before starting, altering, or titrating any medication, including GLP-1 receptor agonists (such as semaglutide, tirzepatide, or related compounds). Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of information presented within the app.

3. User Responsibility & On-Device Records

Dose & Fuel operates on a local-first architecture where health logs reside in encrypted storage on your personal device. You are solely responsible for maintaining the physical security of your iPhone, enabling device passcodes or biometrics (Face ID/Touch ID), and maintaining any local backups.

4. In-App Purchases, Credits, & Billing

Consumable Purchases: Dose & Fuel offers consumable Scan Packs (e.g. 20, 100, or 200 AI scans). Purchased scan credits are tied to your Apple App Store account and do not expire while your account remains active.
Billing & Processing: All transactions are billed through Apple Media Services (StoreKit) and are subject to Apple's standard terms and conditions.
Refunds: Refund requests are governed and processed exclusively by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.

5. AI Estimation Limitations

AI meal estimations are generated using automated multimodal computer vision models. Visual approximations cannot verify hidden cooking oils, exact volumetric mass, or preparation methods with laboratory precision. You acknowledge that AI estimations provide suggested ranges only, and you are responsible for reviewing and confirming the final nutritional entries logged to your journal.

6. Intellectual Property

The design, layout, code, graphics, and trademarks associated with Dose & Fuel are the exclusive property of the developers and are protected under international copyright and trademark laws. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DOSE & FUEL, ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO HEALTH-RELATED OUTCOMES, DATA LOSS, OR APP DOWNTIME.
